| Re: Advertising on the BWS Group Blog Network
Greetings from all of us at BWS Group and welcome
to our Blog Advertising website ... Thank You for stopping
by! We look forward to being of service to you and/or your business!
We do offer very flexible advertising on all of our blogs. We have
87 blogs with 4515
categories in our blog network and our very competitive and affordable advertising
rates are the same for all of them.
We have advertising space available for text based ads and/or graphic ads of various
sizes and shapes on our blog network in very favorable locations.
It's first screen placement (see the image below) and your Sidebar
Ads (Zones 1, 2, 5 and Text Ads*) would
appear on the display of every page of the blog, including all current page displays
and any and all future pages that are added.
*Optionally, by request, your Text Ad
could appear on the "home page only" if that is your need or even within a single
currently posted article, if that is your need. If you have a custom need, let
us know what you are looking for and we will do our best to help you work it out...
Your Sidebar Ad would be above the language translation
bar in
the blog sidebar on the right hand side of the page. View the live ads on our
Home Improvement Power
(new window will open) blog...

Graphic Ads
If your advertising needs are for graphic ads, we offer several options that will
fit right in with your needs.
We offer 5 different types of graphic advertising as represented in the
graphic above as "Zones". Each Zone is fully explained
below to serve a full range of advertising needs, from the budget-minded right on
up to the business level...
Below is a rundown of what we can do. But first, lets make sure we all understand
Ad Rotators.
What Exactly Is An Ad Rotator?
As simplistic as it might sound, basically its a piece of software that rotates
ads. Using an example might possibly make things a little clearer.
For this example, lets use the Ad Rotator in Zone 1 in
the graphic above. As you can see, there are 3 ad spots
in this Ad Rotator that will show 3 graphic ads with each
new page display of any page within the blog.
But say we have 2 affiliate programs we want to promote, 2 products of our own
that we want to offer for sale, and there are 2 business associates whom we have made
a link exchange with for 2 more ad spots.
Now the dilemma! ... We have 6 ads to show in 3 ad spots. It doesn't take a rocket
scientist to see that won't work. So enter the Ad Rotator!
It actually solves 3 issues for us.
The first issue solved, we can give the Ad Rotator software
a pool of ads (such as our list of 6 ads) and it will randomly select 3 of them to
post with each page display. It's programmed to not pull the same ad more than once
with each ad rotation, so different ads and non-duplicated ads are displayed on the
blog page.
The second issue solved, the Ad Rotator also keeps track
of which ads it has pulled and tries it's best to keep the number of times each ad
is displayed as equal as possible for subsequent page displays.
The third issue solved is where the ads are placed. The placement is also random.
One time an ad might be displayed in column 1, the next time it is pulled in column
3 and yet another time, in column 2. The Ad Rotator places
the ad randomly too.
Hope that helps you better understand Ad Rotators...
How Does An Ad Rotator Help Me?
Very good question! And the short answer is that it cuts the cost of advertising
for the budget-minded advertiser. But just like every good thing, it does come with
a little excess baggage.
The primary benefit of an Ad Rotator is that the cost
of the ad space it occupies is shared by several advertisers. Take Zone 1 again as
an example. Say the cost of the ad zone is $120/year for each of the 3 ad spots. That's
a total of $360/year for the Zone 1 ad space.
Now if there were only 3 advertisers using the 3 ad slots then each would have
to pay $120/year for their ad spot. But when we install an Ad Rotator
and can now rotate ads for say 6 advertisers, then the cost for each advertiser is
reduced to $60/year and all 6 ads will get their equal share of the first ad spot.
OK, so that's good. Advertising costs are reduced. So what's the small amount of
baggage? Well, it's this ... With 6 ads sharing equally all of the page displays instead
of 3 ads, that means the number of times each ad is displayed is 50% of all page views.
So the trade off is a reduced cost of advertising in exchange for fewer page views.
But this means that the budget-minded advertiser is still in the running for some
quality advertising that might otherwise be out of their range at full price. It boils
down to the fact that some advertising is much better than no advertising...
What If I Don't Want My Ad In An Ad Rotator?
There are many advertisers who do not want their ads in an Ad
Rotator. They prefer that their ad is shown on all the page views. Well, we
gotcha' covered!!
Enter Zone 2 and Zone 4 ... These zones are static zones, meaning they do not rotate
ads. Purchasing an ad on either of these 2 zones means your ad will display on all
page views assigned to that Zone. A more detailed explanation of each Zone follows
in the descriptions below:

Zone 1
Zone 1 ... is an always-on shared graphic ad rotator consisting of a single
row, 3 column ad display. Each ad column in this ad rotator displays a 125 x 125 ad
graphic.

Zone 2
Zone 2 ... is an always-on (after activation) shared (optionally non-shared)
graphic ad rotator consisting of a single row, single column ad display. The single
column in this ad rotator can display an ad graphic up to 380 pixels wide.

Zone 3
Zone 3 ... is currently disabled and not in use.

Zone 4
Zone 4 ... is an mostly-on (after activation) shared (optionally non-shared)
graphic ad rotator consisting of a single row, single column ad display. The single
column in this ad rotator can display an ad graphic up to 500 pixels wide.

Zone 5
Zone 5 ... is an always-on graphic ad rotator consisting of a single row,
single column ad display. The single column in this ad rotator can display an ad graphic
up to 500 pixels wide, but normally ad graphics are limited to the standard size of
234 x 60 to be available to more advertisers on a ad shared rotator..

Text Ads
Site-Wide -- Home Page Only -- Single Article -- Custom
Locations
Text Ads ... is an always-on text ad container (static display, no rotation)
consisting of up to a 10 row, single column ad display. Each ad row in this text ads
zone displays a text only link of approximately 60-70 characters in length (give or
take a few depending on which characters are used in your ad) but the ad text would
need to fit on a single line within that location.
Text ads will be placed in the text ad container zone in the order they are received.
There is no ad rotation in this zone and there is no bidding for the display order
of the individual text ads.
For this prime location on our website, we would charge $120 ($10/month) for an
annual commitment. Our preferred method of payment is by PayPal but we are certainly
open to suggestions of what fits your needs should PayPal not be an option for you.
We would be open to suggestions of how you would like to use your ad if your needs
do not fit into any of the these options. Just let us know what you have in mind and
we will be happy to work with you to give you exactly what you want...

Corner Peel Ads
Corner Peel Ads ... is an always-on graphic ad rotator consisting of a single
row, 3 column ad display.
There will be only one Corner Peel Ad per blog, available on a first come, first
served basis. It will be located in the upper right-hand corner of every page display
of the blog. Below is an example of where the Corner Peel Ad is placed (where it says

The Corner Peel Ad consists of 2 images that will be supplied by you, with your
ad saying whatever you want to say. The first image will be an 85 x 85 (pixels) .jpg
image that will be the ad you want displayed when it has not been rolled over by the
mouse (such as what you see in the example image above).
The second image will be a 750 x 750 (pixels) .jpg that will be your ad that opens
up and peels back to display the image when the viewer rolls their mouse over the
ad.
Since there is only one Corner Peel Ad per blog, it will be availalbe by bid only.
If there is currently no ad on the blog of your choice, submit your bid for consideration.
If your bid is accepted, you may keep the ad spot as long as you maintain each renewal
on a timely basis.
Image Ads
Referencing the graphic above, notice the nice, attractive, eye-catching ad just
above the sidebar ... Every single visitor to that blog is going to notice and see
that ad, don't you think? View this ad live on our
Cookbook 101 blog...
Image Ads placed in this prime location will be priced according to their size.
Image Ads for this location are limited to a width of 360 pixels wide. Image Ads taller
than 60 pixels high will be priced accordingly. If your Image Ad stays inside of or
at 360 pixels wide and 60 pixels high then we would charge $180 ($15/month) for an
annual commitment. Larger Image Ads will be a small additional fee...
Please let us know the pixel size of your Image Ad graphic and we will give you
a quote based specifically on your needs. Here are a few examples of 234w x 60h Image
Ads we have running on our blogs that stay well within the 360w x 60h pixel size:
